- WALK OUT SERVICE
Comfortable delivery to and from all studs in Victoria in the farm's personally designed, angle-loading float.
24/7 foal watch on imminent mares with fully equipped foaling and neo-natal unit linked. Newborn foals are rugged as required and of course, IgG tests at 12-24 hrs are standard practice. Owners are notified of the new addition as soon as practicable followed by an emailed report with images.
- WEANING AND EDUCATION
Handling and familiarisation begins at birth, kindness and continuity the key. The weaning process which includes vaccinations DNA testing and micro chipping culminates with the expert services of Ross Hedwards who has been educating young horses for over three decades.

- SALE PREPARATION
Complete and professional preparation tailored to the individual, including x-rays and scoping when required. Presentation and marketing of yearlings, weanlings, mares and racehorses at all Victorian sales, including a marquee at Melbourne Premier. Sire Cam and pre-sale advertising on request.
- PROFESSIONAL FEEDING FORMULA
A complete and balanced feed mix that is tailored to differing ages and requirements. All first-quality ingredients delivered to our mixer with a digitally accurate weigh-scale system.

Our attending veterinarian is Dr Katie Wilcox, principal of Avenel Equine Hospital. Avenel Equine Hospital is part of the Scone Equine Group is located at Avenel which is a 15 minute float trip from Basinghall. Katie is a highly experienced palpating vet and, along with her surgical colleagues, offer a full ambulatory veterinary service as well as surgical facilities in their modern, fully equipped hospital clinic. Avenel Equine Hospital are on call 24/7 to cover all our breeding contingencies and Katie is also responsible for the DNA identification and microchipping of our weanlings. Pre-season rugging and light therapy for dry and maiden mares also available.
